My Dear Pan American Sisters:
It is with a heavy heart that I write this greeting to you. My mentor, my friend, and especially above all, my mother passed away on June 10, 2009. She was ninety years old and had lived a happy and fulfilled life.
There are no words to express my feelings to all of you who have sent cards, made donations to the Edinburg Scholarship Fund and offered prayers for my family…Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
I was able to attend the Alliance Board meeting held in Miami, Florida on June 18th and 19th, 2009. It was a very productive meeting and a lot of issues were resolved. The Alliance nominating committee was elected and the chairman of the committee elected also. I will give the full details on the “Events and Alerts” page.
